The Mezzanine Bar Vinoteca is a cosmopolitan space that stands out in the concept “After-work”. Here you can relax after a day of work, drink a glass of wine, enjoy some tapas and the specialty of the house, the Pinchos.
It is located in one of the most noble streets of the city, Santo António street, in a building of 200 years that has been recovered with this project. The entrance leads to a sequence of vaulted galleries, where you pass through the bar and wine cellar to a small inner courtyard. Going up, we arrive at the Mezzanine proper, a place of incursions into the world of cocktails and gin with access to an old residential area, where group dinners and special occasions take place.
Returning to the menu, the pinxos are of various types and flavors, ready to serve and to taste. There are also other tidbits of Mediterranean influence, many of them prepared by João Tiago himself, known farense who develops this project together with Bernardo Almeida.
The recent opening of the grocery store brings a new experience, even more Portuguese. One hears fado and one can buy typical delicacies. And the time was also changed, now also working for lunch from 11am.
